Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo

This event began in 2006 primarily as a comic book expo. However, in 2009, several cast members from movies and TV series have been invited to grace the annual event. Since then, Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo has become one of the biggest multi-genre gatherings in Canada. Due to its popularity, it already bred two spinoff mini cons in Edmonton and Saskatoon in 2012 and 2014, respectively.

Fan Expo Canada

The Canadian National Comic Book Expo, which is now known as the Fan Expo Canada, was founded in 1995 by Hobby Star Marketing, Inc. Today, it is owned and organized by Informa Canada, Inc. after acquiring the rights in 2013. Considered as Canada’s largest comic con, the four-day event is generally dedicated to the pop culture as hundred thousands of fans get to enjoy panels, booths, and exclusives.

Gen Con

Gen Con is probably among the oldest conventions in the world, particularly those that are dedicated to gaming. It is the brainchild of Dungeons & Dragons co-designer Gary Gygax. Attendees at the annual Indianapolis gaming event get to enjoy gaming and tournament sessions featuring various board games, card games, role-playing games (RPG), video games, and many more.

Indonesia Comic Con (ICC)

ICC is one of ReedPOP’s leading pop culture events in Asia. The convention hosts various exclusives ranging from TV shows, movies, games, collectibles, and comics. There are also cosplay contests, special screenings, panels, exhibits, and giveaways. Basically, it gives those in Indonesia and surrounding countries the chance to enjoy a full comic con experience closer at home— without needing to fly miles away.

MCM London Comic Con

Held twice a year at the heart of England, MCM London Comic Con is one of the largest and most awaited animation, comic, and games (ACG) conventions in the UK. More than 100,000 fans come together in London to enjoy video games, sci-fi media, and comic books. With a large audience, TV showrunners, directors, writers, actors, artists, publishing companies, designers, collector’s items merchants, media producers, content creators, and other exhibitors take advantage to promote their works and extend their fan base.

Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo

This three-day event held every fall celebrates multi-genre media such as animes, comics, games, and sci-fi. During its first year in 2011, it already had a massive attendance of 35,000 people.

The event was launched as the Comikaze Expo in 2011. A year later, CEO Regina Carpinelli collaborated with POW! Entertainment, content creator Stan Lee, and the famous Cassandra Peterson, rebranding the event as Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo. Over 45,000 attendees graced its second year at the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). With the convention’s more than 600 exhibitors and numerous interactive features, it is without a doubt that Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo has grown immensely since its inauguration.

Thailand Game Show Big Festival is the largest gaming function in the country. It strives to promote e-sport as the biggest game publishers in the world attend and reach a wider audience. Attendees, on the other hand, can come in their cosplay attires, purchase limited edition comics, collectibles, and titles, and enjoy sneak peeks of up and coming video games.
